Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated individual for a position at the level to Research Laboratory Specialist Intermediate to perform our research examining molecular control of synaptic function using primary neuronal cell culture. The candidate is expected to prepare cultured neurons, as well as to provide technical lab support in the areas of biochemistry, molecular biology, fluorescence microscopy, and electrophysiology.

Desired Qualifications*
Master's degree in a neuroscience related field with at least five years of prior experience with molecular biology and tissue culture techniques.
Modes of Work
Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes .

- Maintain the laboratory's primary neuronal cell culture stocks.
- Collect and analyze laboratory samples.
- Translate, analyze and interpret research data.
- Maintain chemical and pharmacological inventories.
- Genotyping.
Required Qualifications*
Research Lab Specialist Intermediate:
- Bachelors' degree in a neuroscience related field with at least five years of prior experience with molecular biology and tissue culture techniques.
Research Lab Specialist Associate:
- Bachelors' Degree is required and 1-3 years of experience in a related field.
Desired Qualifications*
Master's degree in a neuroscience related field with at least five years of prior experience with molecular biology and tissue culture techniques.
