Job Summary: Risk Management Project Lead

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Risk Project Manager. In this key role, you will act as the liaison between legal, accounting, finance, and operations, as well as our third-party administrator (TPA), to efficiently manage property and land improvements insurance claims for our company. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, excel in cross-functional collaboration, and demonstrate proficiency in project management.

Day-to-Day:

1. Claims Management: • Coordinate and manage property and land improvements insurance claims, working closely with the third-party administrator (TPA) to ensure timely and accurate processing. • Act as the central point of contact for legal, accounting, finance, and operations teams regarding insurance claim matters.

2. Cross-Functional Collaboration: • Facilitate communication and alignment across various departments, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and involved in the claims management process. • Work collaboratively with legal, accounting, finance, and operations teams to address any issues or concerns related to insurance claims.

3. Reporting and Documentation: • Develop and provide regular reports on the status of insurance claims, including key metrics and updates to relevant stakeholders. • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation for all aspects of the claims management process.

4. Invoice Tracking: • Oversee invoice tracking related to property and land improvements insurance claims, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported. • Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to reconcile invoices and resolve any discrepancies.

5. Project Estimation: • Work closely with operations to gather project estimates and ensure alignment with insurance claim requirements. • Collaborate with project teams to establish accurate and realistic estimates for claims-related projects.

About You:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in a role involving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for tracking and reporting.
  • Familiarity with insurance claims processes is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Travel: This role may involve occasional travel to various company locations or third-party sites for collaboration and project-related activities.

Location: Las Colinas, TX with a flexible remote-work friendly environment. Recommended minimum of 2 days per week working in the office to facilitate team collaboration and engagement.
