Job Summary

A Sales Operations Analyst plays a critical role in enhancing the productivity and effectiveness of the sales organization at Allvue. The analyst is responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of sales-related data in an ongoing effort to increase overall sales productivity. The Sales Operations Analyst will create both standardized and custom reports, conduct quantitative product and sales analysis, provide support for sales team activities, and assist in the management of the sales support tools and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, consolidate, and analyze sales data to support decision-making. Identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in the sales process.
  • Develop regular reports on sales metrics, including pipeline growth, quota attainment, and forecast accuracy. Prepare ad-hoc analyses as required by sales leadership.
  • Provide support to the sales team by managing the CRM system, ensuring data accuracy, and improving processes for efficiency.
  • Assist in evaluating new sales technology and tools to determine their potential impact on sales productivity. Support the implementation and integration of these tools into the sales process.
  • Identify and recommend operational improvements, enhancements, and system customizations that meet business needs. Streamline processes to support agile sales operations.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including finance, marketing, and product, to ensure alignment and to provide insights from a sales perspective.
  • Assist in the creation and delivery of training sessions for sales personnel on process changes, new systems, or tools.
  • Support the sales planning process through territory management, quota setting, and resource optimization.
  • Work with the Sales Operations Manager to ensure sales incentives and compensations are structured to align with company goals and sales team motivation.
  • Participate in researching and analyzing market trends and competitor behavior to inform sales strategies.

Education/Certifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or an advanced degree is beneficial.
  • 2-4 years of experience sales operations, business analysis, or a similar data-driven role within a sales environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Excel, and other data visualization tools. Knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to create complex models and actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex data concepts in clear and concise terms to a non-technical audience.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive problem-solving attitude and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment and to learn and adapt to new tools and techniques.

  • The target compensation for this role is specific to the U.S. Your estimated compensation will be based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, licensures and/or certifications, and the local market. The estimated range for the role is $64,000 to $80,000.
