Job Overview

Reporting to the VP of Sales and Marketing, the sales project coordinator is responsible for special projects for sales and marketing, specifically ISD bidding season and upgrading customer projects for retention. This role will work closely with Director of Education and VP of Sales and Marketing to make goals and set plans for execution in achieving those goals with sales and marketing teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage ISD bidding projects by reviewing each bid and executing sending bids out in a timely manner.
  • Providing progress each week on ISD bids with wins and losses of schools.
  • Learn billmax to help with upgrade projects and retention by calling customers and offering upgrades.
  • Assist marketing with any special projects for events etc.
  • Organize spreadsheets to help marketing with fiber development data.

Job Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be organized, have good time management, interpersonal, and public relations skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Excellent attention to detail, technical knowledge of internet applications.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to external groups, vendors, and employees.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and ability to learn new software applications quickly.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent work experience required; a degree is a plus.
  • Experience with project management and organizational skills
  • Strong PC skills, MS Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
  • High level of interaction with external/internal clients

Physical Demands:

  • Stationary position for 8-10 hours a day
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
  • Visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment.
  • To perform this job successfully, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position. Daily movements include sitting, standing, operating computers and other office equipment and moving about the office. The employee must be able to communicate via email and verbally via telephone.
