Secret Network Engineer

Insight Global is looking for a Secret Network Engineer to be located in the Colorado Springs area. This position includes both the engineering of new capabilities and the maintenance of existing environments. We use a mix of different vendors and expect the network engineer to be comfortable working with numerous technologies. Additionally, the network engineer will produce designs including system, logical, and connectivity drawings, and conduct testing of network designs. The ideal candidate will maintain technical expertise in diverse network and computer hardware and software areas, including interconnection and interfacing with various devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, gateways, etc. The network engineer will also evaluate and report on new communications technologies to enhance network capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors in STEM w/ 4 -12+ (levels 3 to 4) years of networking experience (additional years acceptable in lieu of degree)

Secret clearance or higher

IAT Level II 8570 Compliant Certification such as Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA,

Understand of OSI Model, TCP/IP, VxLAN, routing protocol GBP and OSPF

Hands on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and TACLANES

Cisco Nexus/Catalyst switches, Juniper routers and switches, Fortinet firewalls, Palo Alto firewalls.

PR 50 - 85/hr

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Top Secret clearance

Strong Juniper experience or JNCIA certification highly desired

Cisco CCNA/CCNP certifications
