One of our Fortune 50 Financial Service Clients has a new opportunity as an Information Security Engineer! This group sits within the IAM engineering organization and is responsible for developing the custom applications for all the custom password management tools and owns the development for them.

In this role, you will:

• Implement and maintain security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and applications.
• Conduct security assessments through vulnerability testing and risk analysis.
• Design and develop security features for web applications and APIs, ensuring compliance with OWASP best practices.
• Manage and maintain LDAP directories and other identity management systems.
• Collaborate with software development teams to integrate security into software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
• Develop and maintain scripts and tools in Python, C/C++, JavaScript, and HTML for automating security tasks and enhancing system security.
• Monitor security logs and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Security Engineer or similar role, with a focus on web application security and identity management.
• Solid understanding of OWASP Top 10 and other web application security standards.
• Experience with LDAP, identity management (IDM), and user authentication systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, JavaScript, and HTML.
• Familiarity with API security principles and best practices.
