How will you make an impact in this role?

The Senior Analyst of the American Express National Bank (AENB) Treasury team is part of the Global Treasury organization. This role has diversified responsibilities to support balance sheet resiliency, governance, and our recovery and resolution programs. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for maintenance of contingency funding and intercompany affiliate funding channels, coordinate compliance and oversight processes, and conduct testing and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Company (Treasury, Controllership, General Counsel's Organization, Global Risk and Compliance, Business Units, etc.) to meet recovery and resolution planning requirements, including data collection, analysis, testing, and controls.
  • Ensure ongoing access to contingent funding and intercompany funding, including pledging of assets to the discount window.
  • Support internal control group reviews and regulatory exams, including compiling submissions and data from stakeholders or process owners.
  • Research and communicate new and evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate Treasury policies, frameworks, and procedure documentation refreshes, while driving ongoing improvements and enhancements.
  • Support MIS reporting and analytics, including risk limit monitoring and policy and procedure compliance.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated, pro-active individual with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective project management skills with the ability to deliver against deadlines while managing multiple tasks.
  • Ability to navigate processes and drive improvements.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good understanding of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 2+ years of Treasury, finance, regulatory, or resolution planning experience.


Qualifications

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
