Summary

The Senior Coordinator of Program Management is responsible for overseeing the administrative functions of a Psychiatry Residency Training Program. This role will entail programmatic management of the residency program and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the departmental education program.

This position offers the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement after a period of onsite training.

Job Duties

• Coordinates the trainee recruitment process, orientation and on-boarding of new trainees.
• Serves as a liaison for the education program with internal and external entities
• Schedules or coordinates lectures, evaluations, meetings, exams, seminars, training rotations, electives or special electives, resident leave, ceremonies, or events.
• Creates, monitors, and tracks documentation of training and educational activities; may assist with grade or evaluation collection and submission.
• Processes all aspects of educational appointments and reappointments in compliance with departmental and institutional policies, government regulations, and appropriate oversight agency requirements.
• Reviews records and reports of activities to ensure progress is being accomplished toward specified program objective.
• May conduct formal training or instruction in a classroom setting, and assists in creating educational materials
• Provides administrative support for the program director or other faculty, including maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, and preparing correspondence.
• Assists with financial management aspects of the program including budgets, reimbursements, and cost center changes.
• May delegate tasks to others or is responsible for review of work.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Familiarity with GME (Graduated Medical Education) and educational programs.
