In this position, you will work to build, deploy, and support mission crucial systems. Successful candidate will build and support secure networking elements in environments that will be used operationally to support internal clients and external customers. These environments contain various networking devices (Cisco), operating systems (Windows/Linux), Virtualization (VMWare), web, email and database services, as well as dedicated desktop and thin client technology in a hybrid cloud model. The person filling this role will be responsible for understanding networking and security requirements and applying those requirements to their work.
• Design, engineer, develop, plan, and administrate Custom Solutions, SaaS, PaaS and IaaS services through extensive use of automation and terraform for Government Services.
• Work closely with security and operations teams to engineer and build compliant Custom Solutions, SaaS, PaaS & IaaS solutions within an agile and modern enterprise grade operating model.
• Development of operating model for the above environments and facilitating handover to business and IT operations teams.
• Design solutions for architecture while making sure the best practices & compliance requirements are followed.
• Creation of terraform scripts, modules, and provide implementations
• Author, from scratch, terraform scripts that could be used by a wide audience.
Create new projects, updating, adding/removing resources, state files, variables, terraform outputs, provider authentication methods.

Required Skills & Experience
• Experienced at developing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Good Experience in writing Terraform programming scripts for automating installation and configuration of various applications & its components.
• Hands-on experience in provisioning Infrastructure as Code using Terraform Enterprise or community edition.
• Experience writing custom terraform providers/plug-ins
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python and configuration languages such as YAML/JSON.
• Maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Install and configure Terraform to provision resources.
• Creating, maintaining, and updating pipelines using Git to deploy resources.
• Hands on experience with CICD pipeline technologies like Jenkins pipelines, GitHub actions, Azure DevOps CICD, and similar.
• Capable with Cloud based solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and capabilities for automation (Terraform etc.) including security/resource groups and identity access management (IAM) with in the Cloud.
• SME with containers technologies such as Docker/K8s/EKS/AKS.
• Experience with tools used to check and monitor software standards: OWASP, Qualys, Tenable, GithubSecurity, Nessus, and similar.
• Experience with monitoring, metrics, and observability platform technologies like Datadog, Dynatrace, New Relic, Splunk, Sumo, Prometheus, Elastic, Zabbix, or Zenoss.
• Experience with JFrogArtifactory or SonatypeNexus usage, administration, and deployment architecture.
• Key understanding of core Information Security Areas (ID & ACCESS Management, Threat & Vulnerability Management, Information Risk & Governance, Network and Application Architecture, Incident Response, Security Strategy, intrusion detection and response, secure software development, security architecture, security engineering, and IT compliance) in Cloud technology platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure or similar.
• Experience working with industry standard information security and control frameworks (NIST Cyber Security Framework, 800-53, etc.)
Ability to work EST hours
