The Sr Director, Sales Training and Development is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the Sales Training Dept. including managing the Directors of Training and Sales Trainers. This position is also responsible for programs that impact processes, tools and efficiencies of Owner and New Owner sales enterprise wide. The position creates, modifies and models best sales practices to implement across all brands at all sales locations. This will be done by effectively communicating with regional and site leaders, management team and Talent Team members with a strong emphasis on improving the guest experience in all touch points. Additionally, this position will provide support for Owner and New Owners sales performance both on and off premises. General duties include facilitation and development of sales training, consultative based direction and assistance to field sales leaders, success-modeling, and tracking critical business drivers through reporting metrics. This role will assist in creation and deployment of all sales tools.

How You'll Shine:
  • Partner with regional and site leaders, management team and Talent Team members, to drive incremental sales efficiencies and NOI from all sales channels. Identify and apply sales and marketing best practices and leverage among sales and marketing locations.
  • Develop, facilitate and implement new sales programs and tools for sales operations. Lead collaborative efforts with Brand, Legal, IT, Sales Training, Instructional Design Team, Corp Communications, Club Management, Product and Program Development and other corporate teams to deliver projects and required support to field sales teams.
  • Measures effectiveness of learning solutions, sales tools and processes and works with Sales Projects, ID Team, Discovery, Training leaders and their field teams to provide actionable guidance, based on quantifiable results/production.


Travel Requirements:
  • Frequent travel which can vary in intensity level by month. On average the travel time associated with this position is 50%. This percentage can be exceeded in a given period based on the needs of the business.


What You'll Bring:
  • College Degree, preferred.
  • Full suite of WVC Products
  • Training on all brands and training platforms
  • Training with WVC reporting systems such as OAC (Oracle Analytics Cloud)
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to influence and lead change
  • Comprehensive knowledge of WVC timeshare sales training platforms and processes
  • Comprehensive knowledge of WVC sales projects including Specialist Presenter and Exit Operations
  • Strong working knowledge of industry marketing, sales, training, and servicing operations
  • Facilitative/consultative leadership abilities with demonstrated track record
  • Proficient in MS Office programs
  • Familiarity and proficiency with WVC reporting systems
  • Familiarity and working knowledge of mobile technology
  • 5+ years' sales management or training experience, Manager or Director level.
  • 10+ years total experience in timeshare sales, WVC preferred.
  • Project design and management experience.


Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
