Senior Finance & Accounting Operations Manager

Our client is looking to fill the role of Senior Finance & Accounting Operations Manager. This position will be located on site in the Waco office.

• Salary: $120-$140k

Responsibilities:

• Manager for our growing operations center. This individual will be a member of the Finance
• Department and will report to the Financial Controller. This position will work closely with the COO and Financial Controller to manage the Finance & Accounting team in the delivery center and drive financial results for the company
• The individual will have strong analytical skills and work ethics, capable of executing to deadlines and requests; and should demonstrate solid grasp and understanding of financials and tax basis reporting
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards, bank loan covenants and legal requirements
• Produce the company's annual budget and perform monthly variance analyses against actual spending
• Manage processes and technology projects to improve finance & accounting
• Provide financial modeling, analysis, and valuation support for scheduled and ad-hoc projects
• Perform regular predictive financial modeling of profit and loss
• Interpret financial results into insights and recommendations for executives
• Identify and implement reporting of key financial metrics that enable meaningful insights and improve the visibility to company's financial results

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business-related degree
• Master's Degree preferred but not required
• CPA or CFA
• 8+ years of experience in Finance/Accounting
• Expertise in project management using Agile, Scrum, or Kanban
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and reporting skills
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, dashboards, data visualization
• Experience with SSRS
• Experience with profitability/performance analysis/budgeting software
• Experience with P&L and variance analysis
• Experience with relational databases - MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server
• Experience in budgeting
