Our client is an established leader in the manufacturing industry, currently in a period of exciting growth and transformation. With recent efforts to acquire another company, this newly created role is critical to their expansion strategy. The finance team is undergoing a significant overhaul, and they are looking for a top-notch Senior Financial Planning & Analyst to contribute to this dynamic phase.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Senior Financial Planning Analyst to join our finance team. This role will report directly to the VP of Finance and will play a pivotal role in delivering actionable financial insights, driving process improvements, and supporting strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience in financial planning and analysis, particularly within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Analysis: Perform in-depth financial analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
  • Presentation & Reporting: Develop and present financial reports to executive leadership, including the VP Finance and other global executives. Communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and planning activities. Drive efficiencies and optimize financial processes.
  • Data Management: Utilize advanced Excel and Hyperion skills to manage and analyze financial data. Leverage Power BI for enhanced data visualization and reporting.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams, including local and global executive leaders, to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.
  • Global Perspective: Engage with international teams as needed to support global financial planning and analysis activities.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Expertise in Excel and Hyperion is required. Power BI experience is a significant plus. Strong presentation and communication skills are essential.
  • Process Improvement: Proven track record of driving process improvements and delivering actionable results.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
  • Global Experience: International or global experience is a plus but not required.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary: Target compensation is $95-125k depending on experience
  • 401k: 3% matching at 100%, 4-6% matching at 50%, vested on Day 1.
  • Profit Sharing: 3% profit sharing.
