We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Representative to join our North America Supply Chain Team in Asheville, NC. This full-time, on-site HR position at our Asheville Global Wipes site supports approximately 110 non-exempt associates and 8-10 exempt leaders. Responsibilities include leading and executing strategic and tactical talent priorities to create an engaging, high-performance work environment. Key areas of focus include staffing, compensation administration, associate engagement, talent and performance development, performance management, succession planning, and employee and labor relations.

What You Will Do:
  • Provides forward thinking HR consultation on strategic and operational issues by proactively assessing work environment, culture, and identifying and implementing appropriate action. This may include developing and implementing programs in the areas of talent and performance development, rewards/recognition, employee engagement or other initiatives to improve overall organization health and performance.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition team to drive talent acquisition, engagement, and retention initiatives to ensure a robust talent pipeline for short and long-term objectives.
  • Coach and develop managers in employee relations, performance management, talent development, and other key areas.
  • Mitigate organizational risk by ensuring compliance with all employment laws.
  • Enhance culture and associate engagement through effective Engagement Survey Action Planning (HUMU). Create focus groups to further explore the results of the engagement survey to help develop action plans.
  • Serve as a resource for managers and associates by interpreting policies and procedures.
  • Maintain personnel records with a high level of confidentiality.
  • Coordinate, implement, and evaluate Engagement and Inclusion events, communications, initiatives, and partnerships with the E&I Committee.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of new hire onboarding and training plans to ensure associates are prepared to perform essential job functions safely and productively.
  • Primary work done on day shift hours (M-F). Will need to work nights or weekends, on occasion to support employee engagement events.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related area
  • 5 years of Human Resources experience, with a heavy focus on employee relations and employee engagement
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer service focused
  • Superior communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and associates
  • Strong organizational, time, and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement, develop strategies, and implement solutions
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Workday with technical aptitude


Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years' experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • MBA or MA in Human Resources or Industrial Relations
  • Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and/or High Performing Work Systems (HPWS)
  • Instructional design or curriculum design experience
  • Bilingual (Spanish speaking)


Reports to the Regional Senior Human Resources Manager.

This is an onsite position.
