Summary
CHS is seeking a strategic thinker and skilled marketer with a track record of leading multichannel campaigns and marketing programs. The Senior Marketing Specialist will help execute marketing strategy and tactics, including campaigns and programs, to support the growth of the company's energy business, including refined fuels, lubricants and propane. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable and collaborative with strong project management skills. Essential traits include excellent written and verbal communication skills, creativity, curiosity, integrity, problem-solving skills and experience working with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
Responsibilities
• Function as a collaborative member of the CHS marketing team to execute and develop campaigns and programs for external channels.
• Support marketing communications, advertising campaigns, and marketing partnerships for the Cenex brand and its businesses, as well as other energy platform marketing.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders and suppliers, successfully assisting with marketing initiatives.
• Possess strong knowledge of graphic design principles to monitor and direct vendor and agency work to achieve brand and campaign aesthetic and adhere to brand standards.
• Create and manage purchase orders for brand projects, track invoices and provide regular reports, adhering to budget and deadlines.
• Monitor adherence to all pertinent legal requirements, including trademarks, copyrights, usage rights and releases.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or related disciplines
• 4+ years of marketing communications experience, to include:
• Brand development or management
• Marketing communications, PR or organizational communications
• Multiple channels (print, digital, social)
• Working in a matrixed and/or multidisciplinary environment
Additional Qualifications
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and planning skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience assisting multiple day-to-day clients and marketing campaigns with a proven track record of managing deadlines, budgets, and vendors.
• Experience in executing multimedia marketing, including TV, social media, video and audio.
• Diverse vendor management experience, including design agencies, promotional item vendors and/or event management
• Agriculture, energy and/or cooperative experience

Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications.
