The Project Manager must have expertise in finance and project management and may have expertise in information systems and operations. The position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Administration. The Project Manager provides operational and financial analysis support as well to any senior leader in developing data, creating presentations, testing scenarios, documenting process, conducting statistical analysis and developing marketing ideas. Utilizes information system tools in process. Monitors progress through reporting and variance analysis and routinely prepares up dates on profitability for all levels of audiences. Participates in board level projects and works directly with senior leaders, leading project management for multiple projects. Provides leadership and guidance to all levels of project participants to keep projects on track. Manages people and process as defined by the projects. Serves in interim management positions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in business or equivalent combination of education and experience with five or more years' experience required, preferably in healthcare. Master's degree preferred. Project management certification preferred. Proficient with computers and analysis of data. Data management and information system experience required. Strong analytical skills in the area of statistical analyses including financial variance analysis and statistical significance. Proficiency in PC systems and application including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, WordPerfect, publishing software and other database management software. Must have expertise in finance and project management. Must have ability to focus detailed, concentrated effort to multiple projects and reestablish priorities as needed. Strong leadership skills required. Strong communication skills with all levels of staff and leadership. Ability to hold self and project team members accountable, while building rapport with project team and stakeholders. Ability to motivate others. Ability to support project stakeholders through change. Ability to take initiative to identify process improvements, and to encourage project team members to do the same. Must be a model to staff of respectful and collaborative behavior.
