L3Harris is looking for a Systems Integration/Test Engineer for our NAS Enterprise Messaging Service (NEMS) which supports our FAA NextGen System Wide Information Management (SWIM) system.

Located at the William J Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) in Atlantic City, NJ, this exciting opportunity will work closely with the customer by analyzing requirements on their usage of NEMS and developing and deploying their Java Message Services (JMS) and web services configurations to NEMS.

Job Responsibilities:

• Understand customer needs by interacting with key stakeholders and relaying project deliverables in a clear and concise manner.
• Provide integration and on-ramping support to internal FAA programs, assisting with initial NEMS service orders and prototype configurations.
• Track NEMS system issues that are reported by internal and external customers to facilitate resolution of all tickets within a timely manner.
• Support customer testing by troubleshooting system and network connectivity issues, and execute formal test procedures when the customer is not available
• Perform Linux system administration tasks such as server and file system maintenance and supporting configurations in VMware virtual environments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Work experience interacting with others in a professional setting and presenting facts and data.
• Internship or direct experience on a FAA NAS program.
• Familiar with Microsoft Operating Systems and Linux based operating systems such as Redhat, CentOS etc.
• Experience working with or supporting the FAA in a Test, Software or Systems Engineering role.
