The Sustainability Measurement & Abatement Technology team builds technical solutions to track, record, and forecast Amazon's WW impact on the Environment (i.e., Carbon, Water, Waste, etc.). This includes calculating past and current impacts and future abatement plans, ensuring credibility through standards and validations, and highlighting non-obvious opportunities for Amazon's global business teams.
We are looking for a technical program manager to facilitate the deployment of data disclosure technology solutions. You will be responsible for dependency management across teams within Amazon, as well as integrations with 3P tooling. Key job responsibilities
- Methodically sort through project plans to ensure technical strategy is sensible, timelines and commitments are firm, and path to deliver is clear
- Collaborate with groups of experts and cross-functional colleagues in an agile environment
- Communicate effectively across job families, as well as up and down the hierarchy of leadership and builders
- Work on a variety of challenging problems that have to potential to significantly impact sustainability objectives
- Look around corners, surface and work to mitigate risk to project delivery. Deliver results despite working in an ambiguous environment
- Be a technical problem solver on the team, identifying innovative solutions to project deadlocks and resolving issues and constraints based on data-informed judgement decisions

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
- 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience in system design
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 3+ years of software development experience

The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market.
