• About This Opportunity

EMPLOYER: 7-Eleven, Inc.

JOB TITLE: Software Engineer

LOCATION: Irving, TX, and hybrid role, may work from home.

DUTIES: Review code and automation tests, write code and automation tests, and communicate status and issues to teammates and leadership. Work with technical leads on low level design and ensure design is followed while reviewing code. Write clean, readable, and maintainable code. Follow clean code practices. Help troubleshoot production issues occasionally. Keep abreast with software development tools and best practices. Responsible for UI development and use technologies including JavaScript, ReactJS, Axios, Redux, HTML5, CSS, Electron, Realm, REST Web services, Logz and Grafana.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as Software Developer, Software Engineer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 5 years of experience in UI development and using technologies including JavaScript, ReactJS, Axios, Redux, HTML5, CSS, Electron, Realm, REST Web services, Logz and Grafana. Hybrid role, may work from home.

In lieu of a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience, employer will accept a Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field and 3 years of experience in UI development and using technologies including JavaScript, ReactJS, Axios, Redux, HTML5, CSS, Electron, Realm, REST Web services, Logz and Grafana. Hybrid role, may work from home.
