JOB TITLE: Software Engineer - Machine Learning

LOCATION: Irving, TX

DUTIES: Research and develop state-of-the-art machine learning and statistical models to solve and optimize for predictive analytics problems across the retail business. Architect, develop and automate data pipelines, using technologies such as Python, Spark, SQL, Azure, PySpark and Amazon Web Services (or other cloud computing services), to establish interaction between 7-Eleven stores, business groups, customers and products. Work and communicate effectively across various teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and present valuable insights to them in the form of reports, documents, presentations which effectively articulates technical topics to non-technical audience. Maintain, support and enhance existing machine learning models and data pipelines. Responsible for software engineering, statistical modeling, using at least one of the following machine learning framework, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch or Caffe. Build machine learning models around subject areas of recommendations, forecasting, unstructured data modeling, using advanced mathematics, statistics and AI/machine learning theories. Responsible for Cloud Platforms such as Azure, Databricks or GCP

REQUIREMENTS: Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or as a Data Scientist, Data Engineer, Software Engineer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 3 years performing software engineering, statistical modeling, using at least one of the following machine learning framework, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch or Caffe; building machine learning models around subject areas of recommendations, forecasting, unstructured data modeling; using advanced mathematics, statistics and AI/machine learning theories; working with at least one of the following languages: Python, Data Management (SQL) or PySpark; using Cloud Platforms such as Azure, Databricks or GCP.
