Sr. Systems Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the analysis and documentation of intricate business processes and requirements specific to the USA healthcare domain.
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare stakeholders to understand industry-specific objectives and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis within the healthcare context, identifying trends, patterns, and insights to support informed decision-making.
  • Design and develop detailed business and system requirements tailored to the intricacies of the USA healthcare system, ensuring alignment with overall business and industry strategies.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in healthcare systems and processes, providing guidance and support to junior analysts and cross-functional healthcare teams.
  • Work closely with IT teams to ensure effective communication and understanding of healthcare-specific business requirements for successful system implementations.
  • Conduct regular reviews of existing healthcare systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization in accordance with industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including healthcare-specific process flows, use cases, and test plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare-focused QA teams to ensure that testing efforts align with industry-specific business requirements and objectives.
  • Stay abreast of healthcare industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices, contributing to the continuous improvement of business analysis processes within the USA healthcare landscape.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with a focus on healthcare projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills specific to the challenges of the USA healthcare sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with healthcare stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in the use of business analysis tools and methodologies, with a focus on healthcare information systems.
  • Knowledge of healthcare-specific software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) and familiarity with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, HITECH) are highly desirable.

The candidate is required to undertake travel to client locations for Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions and other related activities.
