Job Description

The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for ingesting, mining, transforming and reporting on data. The Senior Data Analyst will work with stakeholders to provide insights into our data for new product offerings and trends in the automotive. The main responsibilities for this position are:

Information Analysis

ÂÂÂÂ Performs data analysis and validation.

ÂÂÂÂ Translates data into meaningful insights.

ÂÂÂÂ Mines and interprets data.

ÂÂÂÂ Monitors and provides insight into key metrics, including metric performance.

ÂÂÂÂ Handles data preparation and analysis for various projects.

ÂÂÂÂ Writes, maintains, and updates SQL queries in response to questions from internal customers.

ÂÂÂÂ Assists development teams in creating and maintaining data reporting models.

Customer Reporting

ÂÂÂÂ Creates customer facing reports through our analytics tools (Logi Analytics and MicroStrategies)

ÂÂÂÂ Creates reports for internal customers using a separate set of tools (including Tableau).

ÂÂÂÂ Develops reports and data visualizations to present insights in the most effective way for decision making.

ÂÂÂÂ Coordinates data feeds and sources additional data required for analysis.

ÂÂÂÂ Determines the value of new internal and external data sources

ÂÂÂÂ Merges disparate data sets and transforms the data to derive metrics and usable information.

ÂÂÂÂ Assists in the development and implementation of data monitoring and measurement systems.

Ad hoc Analysis

ÂÂÂÂ Supports internal customers with one-off requests for insights.

ÂÂÂÂ Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis

ÂÂÂÂ Experience working with SQL on Relational Databases (i.e., Oracle) and Snowflake

ÂÂÂÂ Experience working with reporting tools (i.e., Tableau)

ÂÂÂÂ Experience working with large scale disparate datasets

ÂÂÂÂ Experience presenting data to leadership for decision making

ÂÂÂÂ Some knowledge of HTML preferred.

ÂÂÂÂ BachelorÂÂÂÂÂs degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of industry related professional experience and education
