Advantage Tech is searching for a Sr. Network Engineer to join their client's team in Downtown Kansas City, Mo.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement complex network solutions, including LAN, WAN, and WLAN.
  • Develop detailed network diagrams and documentation for network design and planning.
  • Evaluate and recommend new networking technologies and upgrades.
  • Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Analyze network traffic and usage patterns to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
  • Optimize network performance by configuring and tuning network devices and services.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to ensure seamless integration of network services.
  • Develop and implement network disaster recovery plans.
  • Ensure network infrastructure supports business continuity plans and objectives.
  • Work with vendors to evaluate and select networking products and services.
  • Manage/maintain virtual and physical server infrastructure.
  • Assist the Support team with support requests as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
