Ads is one of Uber's fastest-growing businesses, and we've been contributing to the Uber profitability goal. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Manager to join our Ads Delivery team. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for enhancing the systems that drive outcomes for advertisers including bidding and pacing. In addition, you will be responsible for improving and developing new strategies to help advertisers meet their objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, experience in product management, and a proven track record of launching solutions in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute on the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Ads bidding/pacing systems at Uber
- Work with advertisers and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve system performance and controls to meet customer needs.
- Drive the cross-functional team (engineering, analytics, Ops, etc.) to set qualitative objectives and quantitative goals for the business
- Clearly communicate product plans, benefits, and results, as appropriate, to a spectrum of audiences, including internal partners and leadership teams.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a product manager or in a product-related role, working with technical partners including engineering, design, data science and business functions to deliver successful projects at scale
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Management or equivalent
- Experience in defining objectives and key results (OKRs) and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve them
- Excellent data analysis skills and data-driven decision-making ability, with a high design bar and a mentality of starting with the customer first and working backwards
- Understanding of digital advertising businesses
- Data analytics or science experience
- A true passion for Uber's mission, our products, and the company's hybrid technology/operations nature
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$149,000 per year - USD$165,500 per year.
