Sr Product Manager - Technical, Devices OS

As a Product Manager Technical in the Amazon Devices OS organization, you'll be shaping the future of connected devices and bring a solution from concept to reality. You will be part of a PMT team with broad charter and senior executive visibility. Your focus will be building delighful experiences for app developers that want to be on our devices (e.g. Fire TV, Automotive). This role is a great fit for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, is highly technical, empathizes with developers, and has experience working with large engineering teams. This role also requires customer experience-minded entrepreneurs who are passionate about innovating on behalf of customers and demonstrate a high degree of product ownership.
Key job responsibilities
* Inspire the team with the product vision, invent new ways to enable app development, and work cross-functionally to bring the product to life
* Work with customers, internal and external partners to identify the right features, priorities and user journeys
* Regular engagement with senior executives to represent your project within broader strategies
* Write business requirement documents and define use cases, features, and KPIs
* Create the business case and go to market strategy
* Manage the entire product life cycle from inception to launch
* Plan and launch the product with customers, including Beta customers

The Amazon Devices org designs and engineers high-profile consumer electronics, including the best-selling Kindle family of products. We have also produced groundbreaking devices like Fire tablets, Fire TV, Amazon Dash, and Amazon Echo.
The Device OS team invents ways to help customers develop complex applications deployed on multiple device types. Developer experience ensures the software product is fully usable, well-designed, functional, and easy to navigate.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Experience in technical product management, program management or engineering
- Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience with end to end product delivery

- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
