The Regulatory Intelligence, Safety and Compliance (RISC) team under Trustworthy Shopping Experience (TSE) organization is looking for a Sr. Risk Manager to help simplify the compliance process for our Selling Partners. In this role, you will work across WW compliance, business and tech teams to deliver global strategy and multi-year roadmap to improve the Seller Partner Experience. RISC team's mission is to protect customers from products that are unsafe, illegal, illegally marketed, controversial or otherwise in violation of Amazon's policies while enabling our Selling Partners (SPs) to offer their broadest selection of safe and compliant products. One of the ways, to achieve these objectives, is through inventing intuitive and precise tools to simplify our Selling Partner's (SP) journey. To deliver this mission, we require globally consistent and cross-compliance programs strategy. The Sr. Risk Manager designs, builds, and execute strategies to improve the Selling Partner Experience. This role will be responsible of using data to find improvement opportunities across our compliance processes. The successful candidate will 1) build mechanisms to improve the Selling Partner Experience globally, 2) program manage seller facing tools, 3) work with Business Intelligence, Science, Product, Engineering and Tech teams to onboard new models into our program, and 4) partner with cross-functional teams to influence our roadmap and report out on progress.

Key job responsibilities

• \tPartner with product, tech, business and policy teams to help identify and create solutions to improve Selling Partner Experience.

• \tIdentifying and implementing scalable metrics to constantly track our progress.

• \tAuditing our existing products, while using your knowledge to enhance these checks and launch new enhancements to provide best in class compliance Selling Partner Experience.

• \tIdentifying opportunities to automate or semi-automate manual business processes and procedures using Amazon's tools and technology, improving tools, features and reducing SP friction, enhancing self-service tools and improving efficiency to enhance Selling Partner Experience.

• \tBuild playbooks so every team can interact with our mechanisms.

• \tDevelop quantitative analysis to improve our processes.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ years of program/project management experience in technology focused business.

- Familiarity with program management tools (eg. ASANA), techniques and software

- Experience working in or with tech teams to build and deliver solutions

- Experience with creating own metrics & measurement and analyze trends in dataset and build actionable insights

- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

- Experience with delivering initiatives from conception through execution

- Strong relationships building skills; experience managing stakeholders and partner to drive cross functional programs/projects.

- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different functional groups, developers, business owners, and senior leaders.

- Ability to collaborate with and effectively influence remote teams in multiple time zones.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification

- Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent

- Master's degree or equivalent

- Team spirit and willingness to roll up sleeves to solve complex and dynamic challenges.

- Background in product compliance and/or quality management.

- Entrepreneurial spirit, with track record for delivering results in fast-moving and demanding environment.

- Knowledge of how Databases work.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $96,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
