Staff Research Associate - Infectious Disease

Join our cutting-edge research team focused on designing innovative vaccines to combat malaria. As a key member of our lab, you will play a pivotal role in conducting advanced antibody immunology experiments that drive our vaccine development efforts. Working closely with the principal investigator, you'll engage in high-throughput bead and cell-based antibody assays, phage display immunoprecipitation serologic assays, and recombinant antibody cloning and expression. Your responsibilities will also include isolating innate immune cells from blood samples, culturing cell lines under tissue culture conditions, and ensuring compliance with BSL-2 safety protocols.

This role requires a strong foundation in immunology, microbiology, biology, and chemistry. We are looking for someone who excels in both independent work and team collaboration, with excellent communication skills and a passion for advancing scientific discovery.

Salary: $26.52 - $31.63 hourly
