Position Summary
As part of the Military & Defense Sales Team, the position will be focused on managing all existing accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for these clients. Ensure customer satisfaction through communication, response to inquiries, provide product configurations/quotations, and ensure completion of open orders.

Position Summary
As part of the Military & Defense Sales Team, the position will be focused on managing all existing accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for these clients. Ensure customer satisfaction through communication, response to inquiries, provide product configurations/quotations, and ensure completion of open orders.
Key Responsibilities - as the Account Manager, you are responsible for the following:
- Maintain/build long-term relationships with customers based on trust, respect and value.
- Respond to and follow up on sales inquiries using appropriate methods.
- Coordinate with Sales Admin to ensure new orders are promptly entered, acknowledged, and scheduled in Production. Communicate any discrepancies to the customer.
- Determine/specify product requirements for new customer inquiries.
- Perform analysis on new inquiries/customers to determine business case go/no-go.
- Communicate regularly with assigned customers to ensure all requirements are met, inquire as to forecasted orders and/or new applications.
- Customer voice/liaison in new product development programs
- Load system forecast by customer and part number for regular SIOP review.
- Manage customer and internal sales related communications to optimize customer satisfaction.
- Update relevant information held in corporate customer contact tools and systems, including but not limited to CRM, Business Management systems, and Project Task Tracking systems.
- Visit key accounts per pre-determined schedule and/or host customer meetings at facility.
- Coordinate with Marketing for marketing materials, efforts, email blasts, trade shows, etc.
- Cross-sell products including rugged edge displays and computing.
Position Requirements
- 3 to 5 years related experience
- Account management experience, specifically in government or defense sector.
- Technical Sales & Program Management experience a plus.
- Highly motivated & driven to deliver results that meet & exceed goals
- Outstanding verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and project management
- US Citizenship Required
- Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience
