WHAT SETS YOU APART Orlando City SC is looking for a Market Intelligence Manager to join our award-winning Strategy & Analytics team, recognized as the 2023 MLS Strategy & Business Intelligence Team of the Year. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with and influence the business practices of Orlando City, Orlando Pride, Orlando City B and Inter&Co Stadium.

The Market Intelligence Manager will be responsible for providing consumer and marketing analysis to evaluate business performance, identify opportunities and support innovation across the organization. They will also manage the sponsorship CRM system with KORE and build reports on business/market metrics.

This role will collaborate closely with various business departments and leaders, particularly in Sponsorship and Marketing, to develop analytical insights that inform strategic decisions. Success in this position requires a strong foundation in data analysis and CRM systems, excellent research skills, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely. The Market Intelligence Manager will play a key role in helping Orlando City SC understand, amplify, optimize and grow our brand.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Data Analysis and Research:
    • Synthesize internal/external data and transform primary/syndicated research into concrete insights
    • Partner with key stakeholders in Sponsorship, Marketing and Sales to identify research needs, design/execute surveys and assemble/deliver recap materials with summarized results and actionable insights
    • Communicate recommendations across the organization to support data-driven decisions for mid- to long-range business planning
    • Seek ways to automate data collection and report generation
  • Sponsorship Support and Strategy:
    • Work closely with the Sponsorship department to identify asset values and opportunities for client acquisition and retention
    • Manage strategy and usage of KORE-related products including Sponsorship CRM and Activate
    • Engage with stakeholders to construct data-backed mid and end of season reporting for key partners
    • Assist with the inventory management, rate card analysis and contract auditing for Sponsorship resources housed in CRM
  • Customer Segmentation and Engagement:
    • Evolve customer segmentation strategies derived from both quantitative and qualitative sources
    • Partner with Marketing to implement and track a customized communication strategy that leverages customer needs and preferences to increase conversions
    • Support the development and execution of consumer engagement strategies through the CRM (Salesforce & KORE) and Email (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) platforms
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Study, measure and improve the profitability of digital and social platforms and content
    • Create and enhance Tableau reporting catalog across the Marketing and Sponsorship landscape
    • Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to support strategic initiatives and decision-making
    • Manage and develop direct reports
    • Other duties as assigned

  • 5+ years of work experience in marketing analytics, digital analytics & strategy or similar (preferred)
  • Bachelors or advanced degree in business, analytics, marketing or related field (preferred)
  • Prior experience analyzing and reporting data to identify issues, trends or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions
  • Ability to design and conduct consumer research projects
  • Comfort, appreciation and skill with Excel, Tableau (or similar data visualization program) and PowerPoint
  • Hands-on data experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce & KORE)
  • Excellent at summarizing and presenting complex findings to stakeholders
  • Experience with project management to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives
  • Ability to perform with minimal direction, be self-directed and demonstrate initiative
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment and as part of a team, tracking details and meeting deadlines on multiple projects
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
