Job Overview:

The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is seeking an experienced healthcare professional to join ODM's HOME Choice Team. As a HOME Choice Intake Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

• developing and implementing complex Medicaid HOME Choice rules for consumer access to HOME Choice program services and to ensure effective administration of the HOME Choice Program
• researching and analyzing HOME Choice participant applications and reports on trends
• assisting Home Choice Community Living Administrators (HCCLAs) in verification of enrollment and Ohio Benefits (OB) eligibility start dates to maximize federal enhanced funding
• monitoring operational procedure and Medicaid eligibility and Ohio Department of Medicaid, Ohio Department of Aging and ODM, ODA and DODD waiver enrollments
• working with Data Manager or other program partners to correct identified eligibility issues or other enrollment updates, as needed
• responding to inquiries and requests from consumers, agency staff, stakeholders, and staff from other agencies
