Insight Global is seeking a superintendent for contract to hire role in Camp Lejeune, NC. You will help drive onsite work for one client/project by being a subject manager expert in electrical management, helping to drive subcontractors and enforce quality control of control systems. You will report to the Project manager for budget, and schedule but you will maintain the 3 weeks look ahead for your job site.
You will:
- Ensure all subcontractors are adhering to all standards.
- Attend onsite meetings with owner and general contractors to provide scope of services.
- Timely review, evaluate, and respond to contractor(s) requests for information concerning the Final Design Documents. Such response shall include but is not limited to sketches, revised drawings, written clarifications or other documents. All responses to contractor requests for information shall be made so as not to impede the construction of the project.
This is an onsite role working in a office setting, but on base.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of construction management experience in commercial environment, ideally with a General Contractor or Electrical contractor.
- Experience owning Quality Control efforts in previous role
- Experience with the look ahead for scheduling subcontractor and managing their output
- Electrical knowledge or low voltage experience is ideal. Example: looking and reviewing wiring diagram what that would look like and how to read. (Transmitter, what a panel is, and classification for panels)
- Experience responding to RFI's with some type of software
- Ability to review, evaluate, and respond to Design Documents. Such response shall include but is not limited to sketches, revised drawings, written clarifications or other documents.
- Previous experience being responsible for a medium to large project, manages the contractual commitments of contractors including cost, quality, and schedule and coordinates their field activities.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Have experience in Fieldwire software or similar
Government, or complex commercial projects
