Supplier Management Specialist (Senior Buyer)

We are looking for a candidate who has the ability to source, inventory and secure parts. This position will report to the Purchasing Manager and will ensure the team has the inventory parts available to build equipment on a daily basis.
This person will be responsible for assisting with many tasks including manual purchasing processes, including entering, writing, and issuing POs, working closely with suppliers to communicate ad follow up on invoices and quotes, issue RFQs, working with an ERP system, etc. They will also need to understand technical drawings and be able to recognize details such as dimensions, materials, etc and be able to compare drawing to physical parts. This person will work on a team and will receive training where needed.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience leading procurement of industrial equipment and the supporting parts to produce said equipment whether fabricated or purchased.
- Experience in vendor management and supplier relationship management
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Management, order preparation and tracking
- Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite of products and NetSuite Enterprise software a plus
- Strong experience and understanding of POs, writing and issuing POs
- Experience working with an ERP/Payroll System
- Knowledge of supplier management lingo and processes, Ex: RFQ
- Understanding of technical drawings and ability to compare drawings to physical parts
o Experience in the following industries preferred: Manufacturing, Metal, Fabrication

- NetSuite Experience
