What Makes You Stand Out
• Work with Division planners to ensure forecast and planning schedule maximize customer service levels and manufacturing productivity;
• Minimize/reduce inventory to meet budgeted goals;
• continually improve material flow from supplier, through facility, to end customer for maximum efficiency;
• Work with Sourcing organization to ensure that quality materials are purchased on a timely basis, in appropriate quantities and at fair prices;
• Foster cooperation and effective communications between the supply chain group and the balance of the organization;
• Work closely with distribution partners to ensure customer orders are shipped in a timely and accurate fashion;
• Work with materials group employees to ensure that intra company material distribution occurs in a timely and accurate fashion;
• Work with all Division planners to ensure all departmental procedures are consistent with G.M.P's and Corporate Policies;
• Identify and address opportunities to increase efficiency and productivity;
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets for Planning, Purchasing Help to identify, evaluate and develop Supply Chain Management staff and establish a Succession Plan for the Division.
Your Background
Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Industrial Engineering and Management, or related field.
Must have 5 years of experience in job offered or related position.
Must have 5 years of experience with purchasing, planning, forecasting, shipping, receiving, warehousing and manufacturing.
Must have experience with:
• Generating and maintaining master supply plan for responsible product groups based on forecast demand, critical resource capacity, critical material
availability, and financial and inventory goals;
• Guiding and implementing change initiatives that produce greater level of innovation, quality, service, efficiency, and learning;
• Leading transformation projects/programs across capacity planning and production scheduling systems to achieve targeted customer service levels, capacity
utilization and inventory levels;
• Driving improvements to standard work processes and systems including capacity requirements planning, customer service review meetings and visual factory
boards;
• Analytical problem solving (using Excel, ERP queries (Epicor or JD Edwards) to conduct the demand and supply balance at product family and master schedule
levels, determining out of balance conditions, identifying alternatives and recommending action for approval;
• Designing and deploying of tracking systems and standardized KPI's across the manufacturing and/or distribution network;
• Manufacturing processes (GDP, GMP) used in the orthopedic implant industry;
• Root cause analysis (RCA) tools;
• Finance and cost accounting in a manufacturing environment; and
• Forecasting, planning, master scheduling, manufacturing, inventory and associated performance measurement systems.
