OverviewTuvli is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of Systems Administrator for an existing government client. The place of performance is in Arlington, VA.Responsibilities
  • Deploy, manage, maintain, and support Microsoft Windows (all versions), Active Directory, local applications, servers, workstations and related technologies.
  • Respond to monitored alerts to quickly identify trouble source and implement resolutionConduct system audits and data backups
  • Assist with design and implementation of technical security technology and IT projects as directedMust be able to provide periodic 24/7 on call support.
  • Support the analysis and resolution of system issues.
  • Support development and maintenance of system documentation.
  • Support all aspects of the system environment including systems, network and security.
  • Provide support developing and maintaining a for a virtual environment
Qualifications
  • A degree in the field of computer science or a related discipline is preferred Post- Secondary Education and or combination of education and experience
  • Technical certification is a plus (e.g., COMP TIA Security +, A+ or related disciplines).
  • 1 or more years of direct experience within a WAN/LAN environment.
  • Must be able to work independently, is capable of applying critical thinking to solve complex technical problems and function as a reliable team member.
  • Minimum 2 years of applicable experience
  • Experience working in a virtual environment; VMware experience highly desired
  • Experience with Linux highly desired
  • Have an understanding of enterprise level server/workstation systems.
  • Experience performing system audits
  • Experience in designing and implementing technical security technology
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Able to work in a team environment with little to no supervision
  • High attention to detail. organized and works well in a structured environment
  • Able to foster strong relationships with users and clients.
  • Microsoft DNS, Active Directory, and Group Policy - Minimum 2 years' experience
  • Microsoft PKI/Certificate services - Minimum 1 year experience
  • VMware vSphere7/8 - Minimum 2 years' experience
  • Dell Server and iDrac Remote Management - Minimum 2 years' experience

  • Microsoft Defender for Antivirus
  • Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
  • Microsoft Windows PowerShell
