Duties
To conduct business requirements reviews, technical systems specifications and systems process analysis. To develop detailed selection evaluation criteria. To analyze and re-engineer business processes using industry standard tools and methods with understanding of the technical and business environments. To partner with business process experts to learn and understand problems with software. To develop innovative IT solutions for risky and demanding business situations.
Key Job Duties/Responsibilities:
• With minimal assistance, performs all job duties including analysis, problem-solving, and user support.
• Build, test, and troubleshoot assigned applications.
• Evaluate and manage change request assignments.
• Research options to meet customer workflow requirements.
• Assist with system maintenance for assigned applications.
• Provide on-call customer support for assigned Healthcare Applications call group.
• Identify, recommend, and initiate process improvement ideas.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Associate's degree in Information Systems or a related field and four (4) years of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
Preferred Skills:
Experience and knowledge using and maintaining electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially in a healthcare setting.
Ability to think critically, plan, lead and communicate effectively in various settings.
Ability to easily understand technical systems.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to continuous learning in the field of healthcare technology.
Capable of accurately assessing the information needs of others and ensuring timely responses.
Able to develop options and recommendations for the optimal use of clinical systems in both inpatient and ambulatory settings.
Ability to quickly resolve operational problems and minimize the impact on end-user productivity.
Identifies issues and communicates them effectively to the appropriate team or level of management.
Provides training support and problem resolution to users based on the clinical system's capabilities.
