General Responsibilities

To conduct business requirements reviews, technical systems specifications, and systems process analysis. To develop detailed selection evaluation criteria. To analyze and re-engineer business processes using industry standard tools and methods with understanding of the technical and business environments. To partner with business process experts to learn and understand problems with software. To develop innovative IT solutions for risky and demanding business situations.

Key Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Independently able to perform all job duties, while providing advanced troubleshooting skills
  • Build, testing, and troubleshoot assigned applications.
  • Analyze, prioritize, and manage complex change request to meet evolving healthcare needs.
  • Actively track and review roadmaps and enhancements to be considered by leadership.
  • Conduct research and analysis to develop innovative solutions for customer workflow requirements, driving continuous improvement.
  • Oversee system maintenance and upgrades for assigned applications, ensuring adherence to healthcare standards and best practices.
  • Provide on-call customer support for assigned Healthcare Applications, managing escalations, and coordinating resolutions across teams.
  • Drive strategic process improvements initiatives, leveraging data and analytics to enhance system functionality and healthcare delivery.
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development.


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Associate's degree in Information Systems or a related field and eight (8) years of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.

Preferred Skills:

Ÿ Advanced experience and knowledge using and maintaining electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Ÿ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience interacting with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.

Ÿ Proven ability to think critically, plan, lead and communicate effectively on complex HER-related tasks and projects.

Ÿ Proficient in understanding and troubleshooting technical aspects of EHS system, with the ability to provide expert guidance.

Ÿ Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to learning and staying updated in the field of healthcare technology.

Ÿ Skilled at assessing and addressing the information needs of healthcare providers, ensuring efficient and accurate responses.

Ÿ Capable of developing and implementing strategic recommendations for optimizing EHR system usage in both inpatient and ambulatory settings.

Ÿ Able to quickly resolve operational issues, minimizing disruption and enhancing end-user productivity.

Ÿ Demonstrates the ability to identify and escalate complex issues to the appropriate management level, ensuring timely resolutions.

Ÿ Provides advanced training and support to users, leveraging deep functional knowledge of the clinical systems to address and resolve issues.
