General Responsibilities

To conduct business requirements reviews, technical systems specifications, and systems process analysis. To develop detailed selection evaluation criteria. To analyze and re-engineer business processes using industry standard tools and methods with understanding of the technical and business environments. To partner with business process experts to learn and understand problems with software. To develop innovative IT solutions for risky and demanding business situations.

Key Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Independently able to perform all job duties

• Build, test, and troubleshoot assigned applications.

• Analyze, prioritize, and manage complex change request to meet evolving healthcare needs.

• Actively track and review roadmaps and enhancements to be considered by leadership.

• Research and evaluate solutions to meet customer workflow requirements, providing recommendations for improvements.

• Assist with system maintenance activities for assigned applications.

• Provide on-call customer support for assigned Healthcare Applications call group, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.

• Identify, recommend, and initiate process improvement ideas to enhance system performance and user experience.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Associate's degree in Information Systems or a related field and six (6) years of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.

Preferred Skills:

Ÿ Experience and knowledge using and maintaining electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Ÿ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially in a healthcare setting.

Ÿ Ability to think critically, plan, lead and communicate effectively regarding HER-related tasks and projects.

Ÿ Proficient in understanding and navigating technical aspects of EHR systems.

Ÿ Detail-oriented with a commitment to continuous learning in the field of healthcare technology.

Ÿ Skilled at assessing the information needs of healthcare providers and ensure timely and accurate responses.

Ÿ Capable of developing options and recommendations for the optimal use of clinical systems in both inpatient and ambulatory settings.

Ÿ Able to quickly resolve operational problems and minimize the impact on end-user productivity.

Ÿ Identifies issues and communicates them effectively to the appropriate team or level of management.

Ÿ Provides training support and resolves problems for users based on the functional capabilities of the clinical system.
