POSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS :


Role Responsibilities:

Creates, manages, and understands impacts to project scope, constraints and schedule.

Manages projects according to work plan.

Performs critical path analysis.

Understands and can effectively/quantifiably communicate progress against tasks, milestones, and blockers of each project in the portfolio.

Coordinates across multiple projects that are aligned with the strategic direction of the department.

Identifies and manages project and program interdependencies.

Creates performance and status reports for relevant stakeholders.

Develops and manages project risk and issue management plans.

Analyzes risks by probability and severity to assess their impact on project delivery.

Implements procedures to mitigate risk threats.

Utilizes available tools for identifying and tracking issues such as the Delivery Risk Assessment, risk workshops, and clarity.

Uses client project management tools and methodologies to deliver.

Develops project organization chart and governance structures.

Defines roles and responsibilities of team members.

Defines processes and standards around governance, communication, and quality.

Develops deliverable acceptance plans and criteria.

Identifies and develops strategy for changes in scope, schedule, and cost. Develops strategic rationale for change including costs, benefits, tradeoffs, etc.

Creates transition plan, identifies lessons learned, and applies the lessons learned to future projects.

Establish program objectives; develop requirements, plan schedules and estimate cost.

Balance stakeholder needs and effectively negotiate tradeoffs between scope, schedule, and budget.

Balance needs of multiple stakeholders and gains buy-in from groups who may be resistant to change

Work in a multi vendor tough and demanding work environment.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a technology or related field is required8+ years of experience as a technical project manager, utilizing project management methodologies and disciplines, best practices, and artifacts in both Waterfall and Agile environments Technical understanding and experience supporting projects for Identify and Access

Management Systems including the following:

IAM Authentication, Active Directory (AD), Azure AD Federations

Single Sign on Protocol (SSO) Identity Plus

Proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, SharePoint

Proficiency and experience using Agile project management tools (e.g. Rally, Jira, MS ADS etc.)

Ability to travel occasionally according to client demands

Preferences:

Technical consulting experience highly preferred Banking or FSI industry experience preferred, PMP/CAPM Certification

The technical project manager will be assigned multiple initiatives within the Identity and Access Management space.

The work efforts are related to retiring functionality/access that is no longer in use, remediating technology that has open findings.

The need is for the project manager to be accountable in ensuring that assigned projects are effectively managed by taking accountability and ownership for the successful delivery of work.

Certification: Project Management Professional certified , Certified Associate in Project Management certified
