This role specifically contributes to our Clients Retail Engineering team. We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with a strong background in engineering and DevOps to join our team. This role focuses on managing platform changes and release management projects with multiple stakeholders, ensuring seamless execution from development to production. THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU
In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end management of non-business projects, primarily focused on platform changes and release management. You will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects simultaneously, employing Agile and Scrum methodologies to ensure efficient and successful outcomes. Leveraging your technical expertise, you will utilize your knowledge of DevOps, including AWS, Java, and deployment processes, while applying a high-level architectural understanding to guide project development and align with best practices. Building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders is crucial, as you ensure alignment and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. You will keep stakeholders, customers, engineers, and team members informed on project status, schedules, and priorities. Collaboration and communication are key aspects of the role. You will facilitate seamless collaboration across multiple technical and non-technical teams, often spread across different locations and time zones. Additionally, you will prepare and deliver Keynote presentations, data representations, and status reports to maintain transparency and accountability. Your responsibilities also include managing the distribution of test reports, escalating priority items as needed, and overseeing the design, development, and testing processes to ensure they meet project timelines and quality standards. You will also support production cutover, warranty support, and participate in reviews with internal groups.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

• 8+ years of experience managing technology projects, with a focus on DevOps and software development.
  • Preferred candidates have transitioned from engineering roles to Engineering Project Management.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including AWS, Java, and deployment processes.
  • High-level architectural understanding and logical problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies, with a preference for candidates holding relevant certifications.
  • Skilled in managing end-to-end product projects within a hybrid Agile/Scrum environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
