Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to join a CTH job opportunity at the Langley Airforce Base in Hampton, VA. This opening supports the 480th Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Wing, headquartered at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, and is the Air Force leader in globally-networked ISR operations.
MUST HAVE ACTIVE TS/SCI CLEARANCE
Responsibilities for the Project Manager:
• Provide senior-level IT project management and technical integration for DCGS and Command, Control, Computer and Communications, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) integration activities
• Advise the 480 ISRW Technical Director, providing support and guidance for all issues impacting current and planned integration activities
• Support engineering efforts to resolve problems, transform customer requirements into technical solutions, generate and/or brief information for decision makers, and provide information for follow-on processes
• Participate in, and provide oversight for, test and operational development and migration for on-site installations
• Assess the feasibility of integrating ISR systems into DCGS, while minimizing the impact to ongoing current operations
• Identify, recommend, validate, and track progress of functional requirements and events for prototype demonstration, test, and integration of new DCGS and C4ISR capabilities.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to generate technical solutions to facilitate multi- intelligence data integration into DCGS
• Lead the development and integration of new DCGS systems, to include operational evaluations of new systems and modifications to existing systems, to achieve optimum interoperability among the various DCGS segments
• Plan, host, and participate in meetings and conferences (i.e., scrums, technical exchange meetings (TEMs), Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Engineering studies, etc.)
• Review project requirements and executed SOW to understand scope of project to be delivered. Performs customer presentations and status meeting
Qualifications for the Project Manager:
• Minimum of 10 years of project management experience, with 5 years of DCGS or ISR architectural experience
• Holds active PMI or IPMA professional certification. (Desired)
• Project management experience with at least 2 of those years managing medium to large, more complex projects, generally up to $5 million of services value per year
• Possess a bachelor's degree in IT management/related technical field or Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Strong Understanding of IT infrastructure domain functions, including compute hardware, virtualization, operating systems (Windows/Linux), database, storage, backup, network, connectivity, active directory, and monitoring tools
• Ability to lead cross-functional project teams
• Working knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and ITIL Certification
• Training in the practical application of business process redesign, change management and information planning tools and methodologies
• Experience working with IT engineering leaders (Network, Server, Storage, Firewall, Security, Identity & Access)
Compensation for the Project Manager:
• Salary Range: $110,000 - $145,000 depending on experiences & non-negotiable above this range
