D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Terminations & Verifications of Employment Specialist. The right candidate will provide administration for all aspects of the Termination processes and Verifications of Employment ("VOE's"). This includes ensuring accurate, timely and seamless procedures, meeting stringent deadlines while administering high volum, challenging and varied workload using initiative and time management skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Terminations

  • Administer all termination requests via Peoplesoft
  • Create report reflecting voluntary/involuntary terminations
  • Compile and manage accruate termination packets
  • Communication with HRC's and Payroll for final managed specifics on terminations
  • Distribute termination packets to noted person
  • Clost out all terminations by creating term packet for personnel file


Verifications of Employment

  • Complete all verbal and written verifications of employment based upon internal policies and procedures
  • Manage timing of written verifications by internal guidelines
  • Distribute written VOE's based upon request and maintain copy for personnel file


Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

Ability to work overtime

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One-year or more related experience and/or training
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Possess strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Strong level of skill within the MS Office Suite
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications


Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge in PeopleSoft a plus
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Provide attention to detail and manage multiple responsibilities
