A large financial services client is looking for a Trade Operations Analyst to join their organization. This firm is both a technology and trading firm that builds electronic trading platforms. This person will be involved in the full trade life cycle and oversee various functions including settlements and investigations.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting clearing and settlement processes across asset classes: Equity, Fixed
Income, Derivatives, FX, Commodities, and Crypto
- Affirmation of trades, minimizing risk and maximizing straight through processing
- Daily reconciliation of position, trades, cash, NAV, and fees
- Investigation of breaks raised by trading desks, other departments, and counterparties
- Reporting metrics and statistics that enable the team to make decisions and constantly
improve the department
- Maintaining reference data within our systems
- Liaising with vendors for troubleshooting and improvements
- Owning and resolving specific inquiries and ensure timely resolution
- Assisting in automation efforts and process improvements

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in financial services operations
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or other related fields
- Fundamental awareness of global markets
- Aptitude and desire to learn new things and quickly adapt
- Great analytical and communication skills
- Interest in post trade infrastructure
- Python or SQL experience a plus
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
