Job description

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Seeking contractor support for a minimum 12-month engagement to develop training content and provide training coordination services. The project aims to enhance the Operations training capabilities by creating training materials and executing a pre-commission onboarding and training program.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement a quality assurance process for all training materials.
  • Create evaluation tools to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Analyze training feedback and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide recommendations for enhancing training content and delivery methods.

Training Content Development
  • Develop online training modules, including:
    • Interactive e-learning courses
    • Video tutorials
    • Quizzes and assessments
  • Create instructor-led training materials, including:
    • Presentation slides
    • Facilitator guides
    • Participant workbooks
    • Hands-on exercises and activities
  • Ensure all training content aligns with adult learning principles and best practices.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather and validate content.

Training Coordination
  • Establish a training calendar and schedule for both online and in-person sessions.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to arrange training logistics (e.g., room bookings, equipment setup).
  • Manage participant registrations and communications.
  • Track attendance and completion rates.
  • Provide regular reports on training activities and outcomes.

Quality Assurance and Evaluation
  • Develop and implement a quality assurance process for all training materials.

EDUCATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, & COMPETENCIES

Basic Requirements:
  • Proven experience in instructional design and adult learning principles.
  • Expertise in e-learning authoring tools and learning management systems.
  • Strong project management and coordination skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with training evaluation methodologies.

Preferred Requirements:
  • LNG or similar industry experience preferred.

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional office environment with occasional work within or outside of a complex construction environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers/fax, filing cabinets, etc. This is primarily a sedentary role; however, the incumbent must be able to stand and/or sit continuously to perform all essential job functions for a full shift.

  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. as required in order to lift files, boxes, and office equipment as necessary.
  • Ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, bend, stand on a stool, or climb as necessary to perform these functions.
  • While performing the duties of this role, the incumbent may be required to talk or hear.
  • The incumbent is required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to move throughout all areas of each office/site location and facilities.
  • Able to wear all necessary PPE equipment to perform job functions.
