Insight Global is looking to add a Top Secret cleared Network Engineer to a federal clients large program team based at Scott Air Force Base in O'fallon, IL. This individual will be joining the DRSN (Defense Red Switch Network) team to support the DRSN IP voice transport network. This individual will provide technical assistance, administer configurations, support testing, recommend enhancements, troubleshoot and resolve issues associated with the various network components.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide network planning and engineering support for all in-service operational DRSN systems.

Provide technical and operational support for network expansions, and modernization of telecommunications backbone systems.

Support the maintenance and monitoring activities, network and systems operation and administration; scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, fault isolation, and service restoration

Support incident management/fault isolation tier escalation requests

Required Skills & Experience

Network Experience (Juniper preferred, CISCO accepted)

Top Secret Clearance

Active Security + Certification

Positive outlook and willingness to learn new technologies

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Voice / VOIP skills (Ribbon SBC - Session Boarder Controls)

Proficiency within: SONUS SBC, Juniper MX5 routers, Juniper SRX firewalls, Juniper EX switches, KG-175D SolarWinds or Junos Space experience

Knowledge of configuring, deploying and supporting HAIPE (KG-175D)
