POSITION SUMMARY
As the Vice President of Supply Chain at Ardent Health Services, you will be a key leader responsible for overseeing and optimizing our supply chain operations across our network of healthcare facilities. You will play a crucial role in driving efficiencies, reducing costs, and ensuring the availability of critical supplies and equipment to support our mission of delivering exceptional patient care.

POSITION SUMMARY
As the Vice President of Supply Chain at Ardent Health Services, you will be a key leader responsible for overseeing and optimizing our supply chain operations across our network of healthcare facilities. You will play a crucial role in driving efficiencies, reducing costs, and ensuring the availability of critical supplies and equipment to support our mission of delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with Ardent Health's overall business objectives. Lead initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, resilience, and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee all aspects of supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. Implement best practices to streamline processes and improve supply chain agility.
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate favorable contracts and terms to optimize pricing, quality, and delivery of goods and services.
- Develop and manage the supply chain budget. Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial discipline in procurement and inventory management practices.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to supply chain management. Implement quality assurance programs to uphold the highest standards of product and service quality.
- Foster strong cross-functional partnerships with clinical, operational, and administrative teams. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align supply chain strategies with organizational goals and priorities.
- Leverage technology and data analytics to optimize supply chain processes and decision-making. Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall supply chain performance.
- Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions in supply, changes in market conditions, and regulatory challenges. Develop contingency plans to ensure continuity of operations.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven leadership experience in supply chain management within the healthcare industry, with a minimum of 10 years of progressive responsibility.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing large budgets.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated success in driving operational efficiencies and implementing supply chain best practices.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of healthcare supply chain regulations and compliance requirements.
