POSITION SUMMARY

As the Vice President of Supply Chain at Ardent Health Services, you will be a key leader responsible for overseeing and optimizing our supply chain operations across our network of healthcare facilities. You will play a crucial role in driving efficiencies, reducing costs, and ensuring the availability of critical supplies and equipment to support our mission of delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with Ardent Health's overall business objectives. Lead initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, resilience, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee all aspects of supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. Implement best practices to streamline processes and improve supply chain agility.
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate favorable contracts and terms to optimize pricing, quality, and delivery of goods and services.
  • Develop and manage the supply chain budget. Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial discipline in procurement and inventory management practices.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to supply chain management. Implement quality assurance programs to uphold the highest standards of product and service quality.
  • Foster strong cross-functional partnerships with clinical, operational, and administrative teams. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align supply chain strategies with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Leverage technology and data analytics to optimize supply chain processes and decision-making. Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall supply chain performance.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions in supply, changes in market conditions, and regulatory challenges. Develop contingency plans to ensure continuity of operations.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership experience in supply chain management within the healthcare industry, with a minimum of 10 years of progressive responsibility.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing large budgets.
