Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Water / Wastewater Project Engineer to join our clients team in Bowling Green. The successful candidate must be technically strong and experienced in water and wastewater projects, particularly in the public sector.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical design support for water, wastewater, and infrastructure projects while ensuring adherence to national and local requirements.
- Perform calculations and effectively communicate results and processes to team members and stakeholders.
- Coordinate or lead project-related field reconnaissance and site work.
- Collaborate within design teams and across technical expertise boundaries to convey ideas and recommendations effectively.

Required Skills & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in Civil, Environmental, or a related engineering field.
- Certification: Engineer in Training (EIT) required, Professional Engineer (PE) certification is highly desirable.
- Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, computer, and technical writing skills.
- Experience: Preferred experience in infrastructure design, preparation of design plans and specifications, cost estimating, scheduling, permitting, and construction.
- Strong background and experience in water treatment projects, including designing floor plans, process flow, and providing general design work and review with the aid of a team.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and preferably project management skills.
- Ability to provide technical solutions for water projects and collaborate with CAD teams for design implementation.
- Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil3D, and Microsoft 365 tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Docs.
- EIT certification is a hard requirement with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field. PE certification is highly desirable.
- Ability to review designs and ensure they meet technical standards for stamping.
