This position within the IT Operations team will serve primarily to curate, refine, maintain, and improve workstation standards and related systems for Tesla's global endpoint fleet. The primary task of this position will be to architect and troubleshoot all endpoint related systems and software, while also assisting with the day-to-day operations for Tesla's global IT infrastructure to provide for the growth of Tesla's initiatives. These duties will be performed in compliance with policy guidelines and within timeframes as defined in the team's SLAs and/or project requirements.


Responsibilities
  • Engineer, implement, and manage Windows client imaging/provisioning workflows
  • Manage, maintain, and evolve enterprise client endpoints and management systems Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Intune
  • Engineer, implement, and manage automation and integration workflows between IT systems supporting enterprise client management strategy
  • Develop, implement, and manage client endpoint management configurations and policies
  • Evaluate, test, and validate new hardware in response to evolving business requirements
  • Manage IT systems utilized to support related client endpoint user experience and workflows
  • Serve as ultimate escalation point for technical support teams
  • Develop and assess innovative solutions for business-driven projects and initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, coordinate, and execute IT projects


Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability
  • 5+ years' experience in client endpoint support
  • Knowledge of Windows client environments, including both hardware and software, at an advanced or expert level
  • Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM), Intune, modern management concepts (Microsoft AutoPilot, MDM), Entra/Azure, Active Directory, Group Policy
  • Proficient in one or more modern scripting languages (ex: PowerShell, Python, Bash)
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-up and customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others while performing assigned duties
  • Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment consistent with department standards
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workflow and to meet established timeframes and deadlines
