505 Integrated Product Team Lead

We are seeking a talented Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead who will be joining and supporting a program management office (PMO) and managing one helicopter model under our commercial programs team. As a business leader, you will support 505 Program Manager in developing a vision and roadmap for 505 product line, analyzing and driving business solutions that support Bell's overall commercial business objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and implement strategic initiatives that improve our business from both internal and client facing aspects.

What you'll be doing as a IPT Lead

• Identify and measure both leading and lagging KPIs to track and improve overall product line performance, working with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.

  • Accountable for developing and executing an overall strategy to meet business objectives for the 505 product line.
  • Responsible for ensuring production efficiency and profitability through alignment of labor, equipment, processes, materials, and budget.
  • Investigate and perform business case analyses to support the product development roadmap, profitability impacts on business decisions, opportunities for reduction to product cost.
  • Track risks, issues and opportunities and develop mitigation plans to remove any road blocks. Escalate issues in a timeline manner.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to implement data-driven processes and monitor outcomes, create information-rich data visualizations and reports from complex data to communicate insights in an efficient way at Program Management Reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and product leadership to understand their needs, translate them into requirements, and take action on execution, delivery, and communication of the development efforts.


Skills You Bring To this Role

• Demonstrated decision-making and problem-solving skills and ability to effectively manage conflicting tasks and priorities.

  • Well-rounded program management skills (cost and schedule management, EVM, risk and issue management, program performance metrics and reporting, etc.)
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective communications with internal & external customers, and senior and executive management.
  • Experience in aerospace product development, production & qualification
  • Ability to work cross - functionally and influence key stakeholders to drive alignment.
  • Experience with multiple phases of the development life cycle including planning, conceptual design, requirements definition, preliminary design, prototyping, test and evaluation , detailed design, integration, formal verification, entry into service, etc.


What you need to be successful

  • 4-year Degree
  • 6+ years of related professional experience in aerospace or other relevant industry experience
  • MBA is preferred.
  • Experience in Manufacturing, Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Global Supply Chain, or Project Management is preferred.
  • Background in finance or analytics is preferred .
