Accounts Payable Specialist

They are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team. If you are proficient with Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) and have a strong background in general ledger management, we encourage you to apply.

Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities:

• Process invoices, verify financial data for accuracy and ensure timely payment of bills
• Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records
• Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, accounts and financial reports
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• Accurately enter and update financial data into Microsoft Dynamics (Dynamics 365, Dynamics GP, Great Plains)
• Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies and regulatory standards
• Provide support for audits, budgeting processes and other accounting projects as needed

Accounts Payable Specialist Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Dynamics 365, Dynamics GP, Great Plains)
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting principles
• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field preferred
• Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
• Good verbal and written communication skills
