Position Description
Under general supervision, provide office and clerical support to assigned unit or department. Answer routine inquires. Screens calls or callers, take messages and/or refers to appropriate personnel. Sort and file forms, reports, correspondence and related documents. Post information. Follow established procedures and standards. Assist in maintaining departmental accounts, records and files. Will also be performing other routine clerical duties as required.

Essential Job Functions may include the following or other duties as assigned:
- Maintaining files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible
- Sorting and distributing incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail
- Answering the phone to take messages or redirecting calls to appropriate colleagues
- Utilize office appliances such as photo copier, printers, computers for word processing, spreadsheet creation etc.
- Undertake basic bookkeeping tasks and issue invoices, checks etc.
- Monitor stocks of office supplies and report when there are shortages.
- Preform other office duties as assigned.
- Assisting clients with whatever they need assistance with.
- Take minutes of meetings and dictations.
- Review customer invoices for accuracy.
- Managing filing system
- Recording information as needed.
- Greeting clients and visitors as needed.
- Assist others as requested or assigned.
- Perform related duties as required.
Requirements / Qualifications

- Proven experience as office clerk or other clerical position.
- Familiarity with office procedures and basic accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of office devices and processes.
- A fast typist
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Very good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable and hardworking.
- Ability to lift 20lbs.
- Professional with proven track record of good attendance.
- Ability to work under little supervision.
- Have a valid driver's license, ability to get to and from work.
- Must pass drug/alcohol screening, and background check.
- Must be able to interact successfully with all levels of staff, clients and vendors.
- Must be able to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
- Must be able to follow directions completely, accurately and consistently.
- Able to successfully complete Reference Check, Background Check, and Drug Screen
