8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Monday - Friday
This position may be eligible for up to one (1) day of telework schedule once onboarding into position is complete and with supervisor approval.
Primary Purpose of Position
Prepares travel documents using Concur for faculty and doctoral students working on

grants while staying within the constraints of the budget. Prepares and tracks Student Education Awards for grants. Attends, transcribes and disseminates meeting minutes for 4 program meetings and 1 department meeting each month.
Minimum Education/Experience
Required Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from high school; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

University Preferred Qualifications:

Graduation from high school, or completion of its equivalency, and two years of office/clerical work experience; or an equivalent combination of training/experience.
Essential Job Duties
Prepare travel documents, eGAs, and Student Education Awards for faculty and doctoral students working on grants. Record program management for five department programs each month.
Other Work Responsibilities Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education
  • Two (2) years of office/clerical work experience.
  • Experience with grants, tracking expenditures and budget management, P-card usage, university systems experience preferred..
  • Travel preparation or Concur experience, University travel document work experience preferred.
  • Experience in transcribing and disseminating meeting minutes.
  • Experience with Microsoft and Google Suite (Intermediate skills with Excel or Google Sheets preferred).
  • Strong attention to details needed.
